Ingredients
- okras
- 250 gm shrimps
- 1 sliced ginger
- salt to taste
- white pepper
- 10 gm starch
- Malaysian Red Palm Oil
Homemade Sauce :
- 10 gm sugar
- salt to taste
- 15 gm cooking wine (optional)
- 30 gm light soybean sauce
- 5 gm starch
Method
Okras :
- Cut off both ends of the okras and halve the okras. Remove seeds and keep them for later.
- Devein the shrimps and grind them roughly with a slice of ginger. Add white pepper, salt, starch and, the okra seeds into the minced shrimps. Mix them well.
- Put the minced shrimp into the piping bag.
- Sprinkle the okras with a little bit of starch and squeeze the minced shrimp onto the okras.
- In a pan, heat Malaysian Red Palm Oil and fry both sides of the okras. Remove them.
- Clean the pan with paper towel and stir fry the stuffed okras with homemade sauce for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle the homemade sauce on top of the stuffed okras.
Homemade sauce :
- Mix sugar, cooking wine, light soybean sauce and starch.
