Chocolate Mug and His Antidote


  • tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp Malaysian palm oil
  • 3 tbsp water
  • pinch of salt
  • ยฝ tsp vanilla extract
  • tsp chocolate chips
  • eggs
  • 25 g sugar
  • 25 g milk
  • vanilla extract
  • ยฝ tbsp corn starch


  1. In a microwavable mug (roughly 1 cup measurement) mix together all of the ingredients.
  2. Add in the chocolate chips.
  3. If you donโ€™t want to cook them straight away, then place them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  4. Microwave for 45โ€60 seconds. (Timing is based on my 1200W microwave so your timing might vary). Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes.
  5. For the Antidote : bring to a boil the milk with vanilla extract
  6. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks, sugar and corn starch until it becomes white.
  7. Add in hot milk and cook it on a slow stove until it becomes thicker.
  8. Serve in an antidote container.
  9. Place the mug on a plate, garnish with a mint leaf and place the antidote container on a side.
