Reach & Remind, Friends of the Industry Seminar 2018 and Dialogue was organised by Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC)on 9 January 2018, with the objective to highlight the important issues and opportunities in the Malaysian palm oil industry by way of a seminar –cum- dialogue and also exhibition.
The keynote address was presented by YB Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong, Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Malaysia to set out the industry’s direction for the year 2018.
Three papers by distinguished speakers were presented covering wide spectrum of issues of the Malaysian palm oil industry and the challenges involved:

An open dialogue between the YB Minister and the Industry Players was also facilitated for further discussion on issues and challenges foreseen for the year by the industry.
An exhibition was also held to showcase the initiatives undertaken by the council including the publications that have been produced, the interesting infographics on Malaysian palm oil displayed on a wall, and POINTERS kiosk for registration. The centennial commemorative coins of the Malaysian Palm Oil Industry were also on sale.
More than 400 palm oil industry stake holders attended the lively event, and were actively involved in the interactive dialogue session between the YB Minister and the industry players.
